Reusable 3L
Beverage Bag Holders
A reusable outer enclosure developed for 3-litre flexible beverage bags with dispensing taps, replacing disposable cardboard boxes that repeatedly became wet and lost their shape.

THE PROBLEM
Replacing cardboard that did not survive the real environment
The client's standard bag-in-box cardboard housings regularly became wet during use. Once the cardboard absorbed moisture it softened, deformed and needed to be replaced.
The goal was not to redesign the beverage packaging itself, but to create a durable reusable outer holder for the existing flexible 3-litre bag and its original dispensing tap.

01 · THE SOLUTION
Rigid, reusable and easy to reload
The enclosure supports the flexible bag while keeping the original tap accessible. A removable top provides access for replacing the bag, and the perforated walls reduce unnecessary material.
More than one version was produced to accommodate differences in bag dimensions rather than forcing every package into one generic size.
02 · PRACTICAL DESIGN
Designed around the bag and tap
The front geometry locates the dispensing tap in a fixed position while the surrounding structure supports the bag. The result is a reusable holder that solves an everyday operational problem without changing the beverage container itself.
The printed enclosure is an external holder. The beverage remains inside its original flexible package; no claim is made that the 3D printed part is intended for direct food contact.

WHY CUSTOM
A small production problem with a very practical solution
